Peachtree Packaging & Display Raises Funds for the E.I.M.B. Scholarship

Peachtree Packaging & Display recently held its 23rd annual EIMB golf event to support the EIMB Scholarship Fund. The event was held November 9, 2021, at TCP Sugarloaf and saw its largest participation to date with a total of 50 teams, or 200 participants.

The scholarship, which stands for Education Ensures Mental Brawn (EIMB), was created in 1998 by former Peachtree CEO Terry Roof to give back to the community. The EIMB scholarship awards $1,000 to local public school students who may go overlooked by other scholarship programs. They must have a 3.0 grade-point average, a 1,000 or greater SAT score, notable extracurricular resumes, and demonstrated financial need. Students also must be nominated by someone at their school via a letter of recommendation.
